Liverpool Football Club have today
confirmed the departure of forward Craig Bellamy to Cardiff FC on a two-year
deal after he completed a medical on Thursday.
The 33 year old was part of the League Cup
winning squad last season, which coincidently beat Cardiff at Wembley to end a
six-year trophy drought.
Signed by Kenny Dalglish on the summer
deadline day in 2011, Bellamy scored 9 goals in 33 games, having his appearances
limited due to a long-term knee injury.
It is the second time Bellamy has left the
club after his tenure from 2006 to 2007.
