Dirk Kuyt is set to join Turkish club Fenerbahçe on a 3-year contract for a reported fee of £1million.

Signed by Rafael Benitez in 2006 from Feyenoord, the Dutch striker amounted 71 goals in 286 appearances for the Reds, netting 51 times in the Barclays Premier League.

Arriving as a striker, he was often deployed on the right by Rafael Benitez, where he was noted for his commitment from the first to the 90th minute and his ‘never say die’ attitude.
