Liverpool have today confirmed the capture of Sporting Lisbon's young midfielder Joao Carlos Teixeira.
The 19 year old star featured in the side that beat Liverpool in the NextGen Series earlier in the season at Anfield and has been tipped for a bright future, being dubbed "The New Deco".
The fee is believed to be in the region of £1million.
